Dear Christians, Don’t Give Up On Your Families!

We had concluded our second Victory Weekend for 2017 last May 13-14 at Max’s Restaurant and Victoria’s Place Club House both in Malabon City. A total of ninety-one (91) participants attended our sessions and fifty-six (56) of them were water baptized on the second day.

Among the participants were families of our members who were reached out through Victory Caloocan. Some of them were Miguel Llanes, brother of Sassa Llanes and Jamaica Panlaqui; Leyla Pingol, sister of Alyssa Pingol; and Josephine Abanilla, mother of Adea Raganit and MG Abanilla. These participants were the fruits of our members’ consistent prayers and efforts to reach out to their families.

Sassa prayed for his brother for six years; MG prayed for her mother for eight years; and Alyssa prayed for her sister for three years. If you just started praying for your family a month ago or you have been praying for five years now or more, this is one reason you should not stop. God is faithful to His promises and He hears our prayers! What was mentioned in Acts 16:31, “that if we believe in Jesus Christ, our whole household will be saved” is true and living. You know that He cares for you, believe that He cares for your families, too.

Dear Christians, don’t give up yet. Don’t stop because you may never know if your sister, your brother, your parents, your children, your husband or your wife might be the next Victory Weekend participant. Keep fighting the good fight of faith.

Sharing is caring!
